Terms of Use

1. Subject and scope

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the online platform at alpen-kredit.com, operated by Alpen Kredit Group GmbH, a company incorporated under German law with registered office at Maximilianstrasse 12, 80539 Munich, Germany (HRB 248920). By accessing the platform or creating an account, the user unconditionally accepts these Terms of Use.

2. Service description

Alpen Kredit Group is a credit broker (Kreditvermittler) offering intermediation services between private and corporate borrowers and partner financial institutions in the European Economic Area. Alpen Kredit Group is not a credit institution: it does not accept deposits from the public, does not grant credit directly and does not provide payment services. The platform enables financing simulations and applications, file tracking, document management and required KYC procedures.

4. Access conditions

Access to platform features is reserved for adult natural persons (18 years or older) with legal capacity, or legal representatives of legal entities. Account creation requires accurate, up-to-date and complete information. Two-factor authentication (OTP by email) is mandatory for every login. The user is solely responsible for the confidentiality of their credentials.

5. Identity verification (KYC)

In accordance with European anti-money laundering directives (AMLD5/6) and national regulations, AKG verifies the identity of each customer before activating financing services. Required documents include: valid photo ID (national ID card or passport), proof of address less than 3 months old, and a verification selfie. These documents are retained for 5 years after the end of the business relationship (§ 8 GwG).

6. User obligations

• Provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information
• Not use the platform for illegal, fraudulent or anti-social purposes
• Not attempt to access accounts, systems or data belonging to other users
• Not transmit malicious content, harmful code or third-party data without authorisation
• Respect AKG's and its partners' intellectual property rights
• Immediately report any security incident to info@alpen-kredit.com
• Not attempt to circumvent security measures (authentication, encryption, rate limiting)

7. Intellectual property

All elements of the platform (texts, graphics, logos, icons, algorithms, database, architecture) are the exclusive property of AKG or its partners and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Any reproduction, representation, modification or distribution without AKG's prior written authorisation is strictly prohibited, except for consultation for personal, non-commercial use.

8. Liability and warranties

AKG endeavours to ensure 24/7 platform availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. AKG is not liable for indirect damages, data losses resulting from external events (force majeure, third-party cyberattacks) or credit refusals by partner institutions. Financing simulations are indicative only and do not constitute a firm offer.

9. Suspension and termination

• AKG may suspend or terminate access without notice in case of Terms violation
• In case of fraudulent activity, money laundering suspicion or falsified documents
• At the request of competent authorities (BaFin, ACPR)
• The user may close their account at any time via Settings > Security or by email to info@alpen-kredit.com
• Closure results in deletion of data not subject to legal retention requirements (Art. 17 GDPR)

10. Personal data

The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy. In accordance with GDPR, users have rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability and objection. DPO contact: info@alpen-kredit.com.

11. Changes to Terms

AKG reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on the platform. In the event of a substantial change, the user is informed by email at least 30 days before the effective date. Continued use of the platform after notification constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by German law. The parties will endeavour to resolve any dispute amicably. Failing that, the courts of Munich (Amtsgericht München / Landgericht München I) shall have exclusive jurisdiction. For consumers residing in an EU member state, the protective consumer law provisions of their country of residence remain applicable.
